According to GMTF, easing the financial burden of medical treatment is essential to ensuring that all Ghanaians have fair and equitable access to quality healthcare services.

The Fund emphasised that achieving Universal Health Coverage requires more than investments in hospitals and healthcare personnel. It also demands deliberate efforts to remove financial barriers that prevent individuals and families from accessing the care they need.
