Tottenham Appoint Roberto De Zerbi as New Manager with Kudus Set to Feature

Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their new manager in a bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The club currently sits 17th in the table, just one point above the drop zone, with seven games remaining this season.

Tottenham confirmed that De Zerbi, formerly of Marseille and Brighton & Hove Albion, has signed a long-term contract to take charge following the departure of interim boss Igor Tudor. The Italian had long been a managerial target for the club.

Speaking on his appointment, De Zerbi said: “I am delighted to be joining this fantastic football club, one of the biggest and most prestigious in the world.

“In all my discussions with the club’s leadership, their ambition for the future has been clear – to build a team capable of achieving great things while playing football that excites and inspires our supporters. I am here because I believe in that vision and have signed a long-term contract to give everything to deliver it.

“Our immediate priority is to climb the Premier League table, which will remain our complete focus until the final whistle of the season. I look forward to working with these players on the training pitch to achieve that.”
