CCC Spirit of Revival 2026 to inspire renewed faith and purpose in Kumasi

Resident Pastor of Calvary Charismatic Centre, Ranford Obeng, is calling for a deep renewal of hearts and minds in Ghana, insisting that lasting national transformation begins with a shift in mindset—not just policies and political promises.

Speaking ahead of the church’s Spirit of Revival Conference 2026 in Kumasi, Rev Obeng said governments often roll out well-intentioned policies, yet meaningful development remains slow because the required commitment and attitudinal change are lacking.

Drawing a historical parallel, he pointed to the Great Awakening in the United States, noting that it sparked major social change.

“When we talk about awakening, like the Great Awakening in America, it led to the abolition of slavery and the enjoyment of rights,” he said. “It wasn’t necessarily policy that brought that change—it was when the mindset of the people changed.”

His remarks come at a time when national debate continues over governance, economic pressures, and the pace of development, with many Ghanaians calling for tangible results from leadership.

Rev Obeng made the appeal while inviting residents of Kumasi and beyond to attend the three-day conference, scheduled from Monday, April 21 to Wednesday, April 23, 2026.

The event will feature renowned preacher Eastwood Anaba and is expected to draw worshippers from across the Ashanti Region and other parts of the country.

According to Rev Obeng, the event is designed to inspire both personal renewal and a wider impact on society through prayer, worship, and teaching.

He believes the gathering will reignite a sense of purpose among residents of Kumasi, helping them rediscover their calling and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

“Reviving the people of Kumasi will stir up a new purpose and vision,” he said. “Through this event, their spirits will be renewed to do what the Lord has called them to do in their societies.”

Rev Obeng added that spiritual revival can foster discipline, service, and a strong sense of responsibility—values he says are essential for building thriving communities and driving national development.
