The GNPC Foundation has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to education by paying tuition fees totalling GHS 7,904,754.79 for 2,571 students under its local scholarship programme.
The substantial financial support, which includes settlement of arrears from the 2023/24 academic year, underscores the Foundation’s dedication to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from accessing quality education.
Speaking about the Foundation’s continued investment in education, the Executive Director, Helga J.M. Boadi, reaffirmed the organisation’s resolve to support Ghana’s development.
“The GNPC Foundation is committed to excellence and will support the development of the Human Resources that we need to transform Ghana’s economy and future,” the CEO stated.
The payment of these tuition fees represents a significant milestone in the foundation’s efforts to build human capital and create opportunities for young Ghanaians to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s socio-economic development.
The GNPC Foundation’s scholarship programme has consistently provided educational support to students across various levels of tertiary education, helping to bridge the gap between academic potential and financial accessibility.
By settling outstanding fees from the previous academic year alongside current obligations, the Foundation has ensured that beneficiaries can continue their studies without interruption, positioning them to become the skilled professionals Ghana needs for its economic transformation.
This latest disbursement reinforces the GNPC Foundation’s position as a key player in Ghana’s educational landscape and its commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals who will drive the country’s development agenda forward.
