Boakye Agyarko Rallies Upper East NPP Stakeholders Behind 2028 Victory Plan

Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Boakye Agyarko, has continued his nationwide stakeholder engagement tour with a visit to the Upper East Region, where he met with the Regional Council of Elders and Patrons, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives and other key party stakeholders.

During the engagement, Mr Agyarko outlined his vision for rebuilding and strengthening the NPP ahead of the 2028 general elections. He stressed the importance of unity, discipline, improved welfare and strategic reforms, arguing that the party must rebuild, reunite and reposition itself to regain power.

According to him, while Ghanaians will ultimately judge the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) by its performance, the NPP must focus on strengthening its internal structures, reconnecting with its grassroots base and restoring confidence among supporters.

Mr Agyarko also reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with former Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, and all stakeholders within the party to build a united and effective campaign machinery ahead of the next election cycle.

He noted that the role of the National Chairman is to support and complement the party’s flagbearer, ensuring that all structures work together towards a common goal of electoral victory.

Speaking on behalf of the regional leadership, Anthony Namoo commended Mr Agyarko for his loyalty, dedication and longstanding service to the party, while assuring him of the region’s support.

In response, Mr Agyarko expressed appreciation to the regional leadership, elders, patrons, constituency executives and grassroots members for their warm reception and commitment to the collective effort of rebuilding the NPP and positioning it for success in the 2028 general elections.
