The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the immediate temporary closure of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) to carry out essential renovations aimed at improving safety and ensuring the long-term functionality of the facility.
In a public statement dated 27 March 2026, the Ministry informed the public that the closure takes effect immediately to allow for scheduled works designed to enhance both the safety and durability of the AICC.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has assured the public that the reopening date will be announced in due course and apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure.
It reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining quality public service throughout the renovation period
