The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kintampo South, Hon. Wilfred Zure, says his administration has made significant progress in the district within just one year and three months in office.

Speaking in an interview with journalists, he highlighted the strong working relationship between himself and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Felicia Agyei, describing their collaboration as united and focused on driving development across the district.
According to him, their joint efforts are aimed at improving the overall image and living conditions in Kintampo South.

He pointed to notable gains in the area of security, revealing that 38 residents from the district have been recruited into various security services, with some already posted to different parts of the country.
He further disclosed that under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), 58 young people from Kintampo South have secured placements in the Police Service, Fire Service, and Immigration Service, describing it as a major achievement for the district.

On infrastructure, the DCE noted that three CHPS compounds and three school blocks have been completed, alongside the renovation of an additional CHPS facility, all within the short period of his administration.
Hon. Zure also acknowledged ongoing challenges, particularly poor network connectivity in some communities.

He indicated that steps have been taken to address the issue, including the installation of utility poles in affected areas. He added that road construction in Jema is currently underway.
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment, together with the MP, to continue delivering development projects and improving the lives of residents in Kintampo South.
