Corporate Ghana continues to rally behind the Heal Ghana Month campaign, with Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) donating GH¢300,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) to support treatment for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The cheque was presented on Wednesday as part of efforts to help the Fund provide financial assistance to Ghanaians battling critical NCDs who cannot afford treatment.
Leading the donation, CBG Managing Director Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey described the contribution as a small but meaningful step toward a broader national effort to improve healthcare access.

“This is just a token, and we plan to contribute even more in the future. I want to commend you for the incredible work you are doing. Until we visited today, we had no idea of the full magnitude of your efforts. You are truly doing an outstanding job,” Dr. Kwetey said during the cheque presentation.

The Heal Ghana Month campaign calls on individuals and corporate organizations to support the Ghana Medical Trust Fund’s mission of assisting patients battling life-threatening non-communicable diseases who are unable to afford treatment.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund’s Board of Trustees and management, Administrator Obuobia Darko-Opoku thanked Consolidated Bank Ghana for its timely and generous support.

“We are truly speechless and deeply moved that, despite the many demands and responsibilities you face, you still chose to remember us,” she said.

“What you have done today gives some Ghanaians a second chance at life. We encourage you to continue standing with us so that, together, we can heal Ghana.”

The donation from Consolidated Bank Ghana underscores the increasing commitment of corporate organizations to the Heal Ghana Month campaign, as more institutions step up to support the Ghana Medical Trust Fund in its mission to save lives.
