Ghana women’s national under-17 football team Begin Camping in Prampram Ahead of 2026 U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Ghana women’s national under-17 football team head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has named a 30-player preliminary squad to begin camping at the GFA Technical Centre as preparations intensify for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The team, popularly known as the Black Maidens, are returning to the qualifiers after several years away from the competition.

Ghana will face their opponents in the first leg of the qualifiers in Lomé, Togo, between April 10 and April 12, 2026. The return leg will be played in Ghana from April 17 to April 19, 2026.

Players reported to camp at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram on Tuesday, March 10, as the technical team begins preparations for the two-legged tie.

The qualifiers form part of the pathway to the next edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Morocco later this year.
