GNPC Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving Ghana’s educational infrastructure by commissioning a modern 160-bed girls’ dormitory and a 24-seater Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facility at the Bimbilla Senior High School in the Northern region.
The new girls’ dormitory will provide the much-needed accommodation for the school’s growing student population, who had been struggling with inadequate housing.
With this new facility, students will have a safe and comfortable place to rest, study, and focus on their academic pursuits.

The 24-seater WASH facility, on the other hand, will significantly improve the school’s sanitation and hygiene standards. The 24-seater facility will ensure that students have access to clean and hygienic sanitary facilities.
The Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Ms. Helga JM Boadi, emphasised the importance of education and the Foundation’s role in supporting the government’s efforts to improve the quality of education in Ghana.

She urged the school’s management and students to take good care of the new facilities and make the most of this opportunity to excel academically.
The Minister for Education, and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu commended the GNPC Foundation for supporting educational infrastructure development in underserved communities and reiterated government’s commitment to continuing projects.

He reaffirmed government’s intention to provide infrastructure to elevate category C schools to category B and category B schools to category A.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr Adam Sule Abdul-Razak, for and on behalf of the entire school expressed gratitude to GNPC Foundation for the generous donation.

He pledged to support the school’s efforts to maintain the new facilities and ensure that they serve their intended purpose.
This project is part of the GNPC Foundation’s broader initiative to improve the educational infrastructure of senior high schools across Ghana.

By providing quality facilities, the Foundation aims to enhance the learning experience of students across the country and empower them to achieve their full potential.
