Techiman Eleven Wonders staged a late fightback to earn a 2-2 draw against FC Samartex at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
Gabriel Osei put the visitors ahead early in the first half, giving Samartex a strong start as they controlled the tempo before the break.
Eleven Wonders grew into the game after halftime, and Kofi Asamoah’s equaliser rewarded their improved play. However, a defensive lapse soon handed Samartex a penalty. Emmanuel Marmah initially missed the spot-kick but quickly scored on the rebound to restore the visitors’ lead.
With just four minutes remaining, Asamoah struck again to level the score, securing a valuable point for the relegation-threatened side.
Eleven Wonders remain at the bottom of the table with 10 points and will host Medeama in their next fixture. Samartex, meanwhile, climb to seventh with 38 points and will face Bechem United next.
