Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, is calling for patience on the future of Black Stars coach Otto Addo until after the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana lead Group I with 19 points, three clear of second-placed Madagascar, and need four points from the remaining two rounds of matches to secure qualification.
However, Addo has been under massive scrutiny, with several high-profile officials, including the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams publicly “not being impressed” with his performance.
The 50-year-old also failed to guide Ghana to this year’s Africa Cup of Nations after a six-game winless run.
“We have to be patient,” Sannie told Asempa FM.
“It will be a wrong timing to change the coach with two matches to go. We should manage the situation until after the World Cup qualifiers.”
The Black Stars will face the Central African Republic and Comoros in October’s international window.
