Edith Ward, the former wife of musician Reggie Zippy, has issued a strong warning to media personality Sally Mann, accusing her of fabricating stories and dragging her name through the mud.
In a strongly worded Facebook post, Edith directly addressed Sally, stating, Its become painfully clear that youve been starved of my attention and now you have it.
She recalled laughing when she first came across Sallys video last October, dismissing it as an attention-seeking stunt by someone she didnt even know.
It was only after others connected the dots that she realized Sally was the same woman she briefly encountered in Ghana in 2021 someone she showed kindness to at a funeral, despite that individual having assaulted another woman in her presence.”
Even then, Edith explained, she chose grace and remained silent, only to now find herself the target of what she calls deliberate lies and attention-chasing antics.
She lamented, Fast forward to the present, and once more, youre invoking my name, chasing attention, and spreading falsehoods on whatever platform youre clinging to.
Refuting specific allegations, Edith set the record straight on multiple fronts.
First, she denied ever being disowned by her parents, explaining that her father was never even present in her life, and her decision to step away was a personal choice for accountability.
Secondly, she clarified that she had sponsored her ex-husbands move to the UK, not the other way around a narrative she said Sally had twisted.
Lastly, she described as utterly false the claim that she and Sally talk often or that she confided in her.
This lazy narrative youve crafted is not only shameful but its dangerous, she wrote, slamming Sallys alleged behavior as disgraceful, especially for someone who sits on national television and presents herself as a woman and a mother.
Edith ended her message with a clear warning: I demand that my name be kept out of your mouth unless you are prepared to speak truthfully WITH EVIDENCE.
She added, Ive endured enough. And now, the record is straight.
She also appealed to the public to share the message with Sally Mann directly, if they had access to her or her social platforms.
