Softcare, a trusted brand committed to family well-being and community development, has once again demonstrated its dedication to social responsibility by partnering with the Coalition of Road Sense Network and the Ghana Road Safety Authority.
Under the theme “More Care, More Love,” Softcare is proudly supporting a one-week Road Safety Awareness Campaign launched along the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
This initiative comes at a critical time following the tragic loss of 16 youth members of the Saviour Church in a devastating accident on the same highway on July 28, 2025.
In response, Softcare has extended both financial and material support, contributing items such as printed placards and safety reflectors displayed over five days to remind drivers to adopt safer practices on the road.
The campaign aims to promote road safety and reduce the rising number of traffic-related fatalities by bringing together government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and civil society organisations in a coordinated effort.
During the campaign launch, Softcare also distributed branded T-shirts, symbolising the brand’s commitment to public safety and its broader vision of care that extends beyond homes into communities.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Abigail Ankomah, Head of Marketing at Softcare, highlighted that the campaign Softcare Cares for Lives is designed to shift public attitudes and behaviours around road safety.
“We aim to share knowledge, raise awareness, and encourage responsible road use through this week-long initiative,” she said.
Ms. Ankomah also noted that Softcare’s long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs have traditionally focused on maternal and child health, educational support through infrastructure improvements, and community hygiene through the donation of essential care products.
“Today’s campaign is more than just raising awareness,” she added.
“It’s about affirming our commitment to the people we serve. We understand the vital role transportation and road safety play in supporting families and community welfare — values that are at the core of the Softcare brand.”
The Ghana Road Safety Authority commended Softcare for its valuable contributions, emphasising that such partnerships are vital to sustaining effective public safety initiatives.
They serve as a constant reminder to drivers, passengers, and pedestrians alike to prioritise safety on the road.
Through this campaign, Softcare reaffirms its role not only as a hygiene brand but as a proactive force for community well-being, protecting lives and spreading love through impactful social action.
Softcare remains dedicated to supporting causes that align with its vision of building a safer, healthier, and more caring society for all.
