The National Service Authority (NSA) has acknowledged concerns raised by National Service Personnel (NSPs) across the country regarding the delay in the payment of their September 2025 allowances.
In a statement issued on Thursday, November 6, the Authority expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of personnel while assuring them that efforts are underway to resolve the issue.
According to the NSA, all necessary documentation and submissions have been finalised and are currently with the Office of the Accountant-General for final approval and the release of funds.

“The Directorate of Finance and Administration has confirmed that all required processes have been completed and forwarded for final authorisation. Payment will be effected as soon as the approval process is concluded,” the statement noted.
The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring timely disbursement of allowances going forward, stressing that it continues to work closely with relevant government agencies to prevent future delays.
“We value your service to the nation and encourage all personnel to remain calm as we work closely with stakeholders to resolve this matter promptly,” the statement added.
