NTC shifts 2026 teacher licensure exams over public holiday

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has rescheduled the start of the 2026 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), citing a statutory public holiday.

In a statement issued on Monday, 16 March 2026, the Council said the exams, initially set to begin on Monday, 23 March, will now start on Tuesday, 24 March.

The NTC explained that the adjustment was necessary to accommodate the public holiday on the original date. It has therefore urged candidates and all relevant stakeholders to take note of the change and make the necessary arrangements.

Despite the revised start date, the Council stressed that all other aspects of the examination remain unchanged.
