‘Pa to Pa’ Promotion: GCB Bank Encourages Savings While Rewarding Loyal Customers

The Executive Head of Retail Banking at GCB Bank, Sina Kamagate, says the bank’s ongoing ‘Pa to Pa’ promotion is successfully encouraging customers to save while rewarding their loyalty with attractive prizes.

Speaking during the second and third monthly draws held at Accra Mall on March 13, Mr Kamagate highlighted the campaign as part of a nationwide initiative to boost regular savings, strengthen customer engagement, and recognise loyal clients.

“The draws mark the next step in a journey that will ultimately see five lucky winners travel to the 2026 Global Football Festival in Canada and the United States,” he said, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to innovative savings initiatives that benefit customers.

Encouraging Savings Through Rewards

Launched on December 22, 2025, the ‘Pa to Pa’ promotion is designed to reward customers who actively save while building points toward monthly and grand prizes. Mr Kamagate explained:

“For every GH¢300 deposit, customers earn one point. At the end of each month, the top ten savers are rewarded, and the promotion will culminate in May with five winners enjoying an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Ghana national team at the FIFA World Cup.”

The promotion is structured to be simple and accessible, ensuring broad participation. Customers can join by depositing in multiples of GH¢300, with top performers ranked monthly.

Open to All Customers

Mr Kamagate also emphasised inclusivity: even customers with smaller deposits are eligible through a raffle draw.

“Even if you deposit just GH¢300, you could be randomly selected to join the top four point earners for the final draw,” he noted, highlighting the opportunity for all customers to participate and win.

Existing customers who have been inactive are encouraged to reactivate their accounts, while non-customers can open accounts online or via the mobile app to join the promotion.

Strengthening Customer Relationships

The initiative forms part of GCB Bank’s broader strategy to promote financial discipline and deepen customer engagement.

“We’ve been around for 73 years, and we’ve never failed to keep our promises,” Mr Kamagate said. “This is a chance for customers to save while enjoying the excitement of supporting the Black Stars at the World Cup.”

Previous Promotions and Future Plans

Mr Kamagate noted that the bank frequently runs loyalty programs, including last year’s holiday trips to Dubai, as part of its ongoing customer engagement strategy. He hinted that even bigger promotions may follow after the current campaign concludes in May.
