Award-winning gospel singer Piesie Esther has explained why she chooses her husband to manage her rather than anyone else.
She highlighted the instrumental role her husband plays in her musical journey, describing him as the unseen force behind her ministry and career growth.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show about her marriage and music, Piesie Esther noted that her husband has become an inseparable part of her life and brand, making her feel safe in his presence.
“I am more comfortable and on the safe side with him. I am so attached to him that even if I go somewhere without him, he knows I won’t be able to continue unless he is there. Not that I can’t do it on my own, but I’m used to him being around. He is part of me, and there is nothing bad in it,” she shared.
Despite his academic background in procurement, in which he holds a master’s degree, her husband has become the creative mind behind all her music videos and visual content.
The gospel singer explained that although he had no formal training in videography, he has invested time and effort into learning the craft to support her.
“He doesn’t have any videography background at all. He studied procurement. But he is the one behind all my videos. Sometimes when I travel without him, I don’t take videos because when others take them, I just delete them, they don’t look good. But my husband always makes sure he learns new things. Sometimes I am amazed at what he does,” she said with admiration.
She further revealed that her husband sacrificed his promising career in procurement to fully support her calling in ministry, emphasizing that God has blessed her through him.
Although she admits that it sometimes worries her that he had to abandon his own path, she remains grateful for the priceless value he brings to her music career.
