Family members of the late 80-year-old Prophetess Esther Bolu have voiced strong frustration with the Twifo Praso Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID), accusing the unit—particularly investigator Paul Quaye—of handling her case in a biased and unclear manner.

According to the family, Prophetess Bolu was allegedly buried in her own bedroom for over two weeks by her husband, Kweku Charles, under circumstances they find deeply troubling.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Rev. Solomon Awuakyire, the deceased’s son, said they are struggling to understand how the investigation is being handled.

He claimed they were abruptly turned away from the investigator’s office when they sought answers about why the suspect was allowed to break the padlock on the building where the body had reportedly been concealed.

Rev. Awuakyire expressed concern that the investigator’s conduct appears to shut the family out of the process, raising questions about the transparency of the investigation.

He warned that such actions risk undermining public trust and could fuel suspicions about how the case is being managed.

The family is now calling on higher authorities to step in, urging a full, fair, and transparent investigation to ensure justice is served.
