Cannella was also clear that she has no intention of compromising her values in pursuit of success, addressing rumours about pressure on female rappers to sleep with influential figures in the industry.

A songwriter herself, Cannella explained that her music focuses on themes such as body positivity, pursuing one’s dreams, and challenging societal expectations. Her song “Rebel” reflects what she describes as her fearless approach to both music and life.
The rapper also revealed her ambitions for international recognition, aiming for accolades including the Grammys and AFRIMA Awards. When asked about her inspirations, she mentioned Ghanaian rapper Eno Barony, as well as international stars Stefflon Don, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj.
“Oh my God, I love her so much. She’s such a beautiful person,” Cannella said of Nicki Minaj.
She also spoke about personal presentation and the importance of dressing confidently, stressing that a woman’s confidence should never be judged based on her attire.
During the interview, Cannella performed lines from one of her songs, showcasing her signature style and lyrical flow. She also teased an upcoming single titled “Hold Body”, which promotes body positivity.
