The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has released an updated schedule for its upcoming public engagement sessions in the southern zone of Ghana, as part of its national consultations on reforming the 1992 Constitution.
According to a statement issued on July 7, by the Committees Secretary, Dr Rainer Akumperigya, the new schedule outlines seven key sessions aimed at deepening citizen participation in the constitutional review process.
These zonal engagements are central to our mandate to solicit the views and aspirations of Ghanaians, Dr Akumperigya noted.
The upcoming southern meetings follow earlier sessions successfully held in Bolgatanga, Tamale, Wa, and Koforidua, with the Committee expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic turnout.

Revised Engagement Schedule;
- Ho 11th July, GNAT Hall
- Accra 15th July, venue to be confirmed
- Cape Coast 22nd July, venue to be confirmed
- Takoradi 24th July, venue to be confirmed
- Sunyani 28th July, venue to be confirmed
- Kumasi 30th July, venue to be confirmed
- National House of Chiefs (Stakeholder Engagement) 31st July, venue to be confirmed
The Committee assured the public that final details and logistics for each session will be communicated in due course through official CRC platforms and the media.
Dr Akumperigya reiterated the Committees commitment to inclusive reform, stating, Building on this strong foundation, the Committee looks forward to similarly engaged and constructive sessions in the remaining zones.
