Zenith Bank Ghana has officially ushered in the 2025 festive season with its annual light-up ceremony and Carols Night in Accra, a tradition that has become synonymous with the bank’s commitment to community, celebration, and shared values.
Since its inception in 2018, the light-up ceremony has grown into a signature event, inspiring other institutions to illuminate cityscapes across the country.
The event serves as both a celebration of the Christmas season and a showcase of the bank’s dedication to excellence and innovation.
The yearly celebration, hosted at Zenith Heights, the bank’s head office located at No. 37 Independence Avenue, Ridge, gathered employees from various branches, senior executives, and key stakeholders for a night of celebration and festive cheer.

Through scripture readings, captivating drama, and musical presentations depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, the performances struck a chord with attendees, strengthening the spirit of togetherness as staff members sang along, heightening the sense of celebration and unity.
The Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Ghana, Henry Onwuzurigbo, said the ceremony reflects the resilience, unity, and collaborative spirit of the institution while marking the start of the festive season as a symbol of hope.
“The Light-Up Ceremony is more than just lights; it represents our commitment to our staff, customers, and communities. It is a moment to celebrate the year’s achievements and reaffirm our mission to make a lasting impact,” Mr. Onwuzurigbo said.
The event featured performances and showcases from various branches of the bank, bringing the story of the birth of Christ to life through songs and artistic presentations. Mr. Onwuzurigbo also praised staff for their dedication and commitment throughout the year, noting that their efforts remain central to the bank’s success.
Zenith Bank says the Light-Up Ceremony is a reflection of its enduring values, innovation, and a signal of hope and festive cheer to Ghanaians nationwide.
