Four new persons who have been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama for appointment as deputy ministers on Friday faced the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
They are the last batch of deputy ministers nominated by President Mahama in line with his agenda to appoint and work with a total 60 ministers.
They are Dorcas Afo-Toffey, Member of Parliament (MP) for Jomoro for the position of Deputy Minister of Transport, James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Adam Sukparu (MP) for Sissala West for the position of Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations and Grace Ayensu-Danquah (MP) for Essikado-Ketan as Deputy Minister of Health.
