Ghana and Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo has described Kylian Mbappe as one of the humble players he has eveer faced.
Sibo came up against Mbappe during Real Oviedo’s league game against Real Madrid earlier in the season, with the latter picking up a win.
At the end of the game, the Ghanaian had the opportunity to exchange kits with the Frenchman.
In an exclusive interview with Joy Sports, Sibo explained what it meant to play against Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.
“[Kylian Mbappe is] a very humble guy. A very quiet and focused person. His humility is at a different level. In the game, even if you touch or foul him, he will just look at you and move on. Also, when you speak to him, he responds. He speaks different languages. I feel he is a humble person,” he said.
“He is very difficult [to mark]. He has quick feet, and it’s very difficult to handle. He is fast, intelligent, and he is a finisher.
“Vinicius is just the same. He’s a speedster and very difficult to mark, but their attitudes are different. Mostly, Vinicius gets offended by the chants from the fans.
“I think sometimes the way he reacts and talks back to the opponent makes the fans always chant against him, but Kylian is different.”
Sibo has struggled to feature in any of Oviedo’s last three games in the Spanish La Liga but he still continues to fight to regain his spot in the team.
