A man believed to be in his thirties has been found dead in a manhole at Overseas, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The body was discovered by some masonry workers who were reportedly fetching water when they came across the lifeless body inside the uncovered manhole.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. However, eyewitnesses say he is not known to be a resident of the area.

An eyewitness, Stephen Donkor, said the alarm was raised immediately after the body was discovered, prompting a swift response from residents in the area.
The Bibiani Police Command was later alerted and proceeded to the scene to retrieve the body. According to accounts, blood was seen oozing from the nostrils of the deceased during the recovery operation.
