
Captain Jordan Ayew and midfielder Mohammed Kudus have been left out of Ghana’s 22-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
Kudus, who missed Tottenham Hotspurs’ last two matches, is nursing an injury and will remain in England during the international break.
There has been no official confirmation regarding Jordan’s absence.
Meanwhile, Czech Republic–based striker Prince Kwabena Adu has earned his first call-up after scoring six goals for Viktoria Plzeň.
He’s joined by fellow debutants Kelvin Nkrumah of Medeama SC who has featured in all nine Ghana Premier League games as the Tarkwa side sit second and Prince Osei Owusu of FC Montreal, who netted nine goals in 31 appearances.
Left-back Derrick Kohn is also eligible to make his debut for Ghana after completing his nationality switch through FIFA.

Otto Addo is expected to lead his first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday ahead of the 2025 Kirin Cup clash against Japan on Friday, November 14.
Ghana will then take on South Korea four days later.
The matches serve as preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
