Dear Sir,
Our country has now laid to rest, with heavy hearts, those who recently perished tragically in mid-flight.
Condolences are due to his excellency the President, the grieving families, and the entire country.
Amidst the days of mourning, though, your office issued a rather unique request. You have asked for prophecies of a ‘national nature’, those ‘with implications for high-profile political leaders, governance, national security, or public stability’ to be reported to your office. You have asked, sir, and I am sure that you will receive. Well, while you are waiting for others, permit me to share this one.
And with all due respect, sir, you will find that this is the only one prophetic word that is worth your busy time. It is a prophecy that was already fulfilled about 2000 years ago, that God, after speaking through many prophets in many ways, has finally spoken to us in his son, Jesus Christ, the last and ultimate word of prophecy.
Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth, including Ghana. He is the king of kings and the president of presidents, and, therefore, he does what he desires, and he, and only he, knows the future. That means that none of the so-called prophets making noise today could have known anything or could have done a single thing to prevent this tragic accident. It is likely that there are many questions on your mind these days, and this statement may have reflected those questions. Permit me then, honourable sir, to attempt to answer a few of those questions.
First, should you or any leaders make travel and national security decisions based on what the prophets say that they have seen? The answer is no, they know as much about the future as you and I do – none of us can tell what the future holds with any certainty.
Second, should you or any leaders be afraid of death by flying or other means? The answer to this one is yes and no. Yes, men should rightly fear death, because all men have an appointment with death which must necessarily come at some point, and after which comes the judgment of Almighty God.
His judgement is right and true, and as a holy God, he will not spare sinners. But the good news is that no, you would not and should not have any need to fear death if only you would trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the one and only way that God has provided for escape from judgement. God himself was pleased to crush Jesus Christ in death. Yet this man Jesus was innocent and did not deserve to die. God put him to death; in fact, he himself laid down his life for the sins of all those who will turn from their sins and put their trust in him. God raised him to life to prove that his death
was a satisfactory payment for the sins of all who believe in him. And all who trust in him do not need to fear death, because God will raise all of his followers to eternal life.
Third, in response to your request for prophecies of a presidential nature, at least one so-called prophet, Fire Oja, has asked the government to provide money to him and other prophets. Should you, honourable presidential envoy, consider this?
The answer is a resounding no! Of all the futile wastes of public funds that a government may be tempted to consider, this would rank among the worst.
Fourth, what should you do then about the men of God who may come to you in the coming days with suggestions for what you, the president, or others should do in light of their prophecies? Should you entertain them, perhaps even provide their transport? You guessed right if you can see the trend of these answers – The answer to this question would be another resounding no.
Fifth, and lastly, you may ask: Is that all? Is the above fulfilled prophecy about Jesus Christ really all there is to know? Should you not be expecting major prophecies of national significance as your statement requested?
And when those prophecies come to you, as they surely will come, is it not necessary to take them through ‘urgent review and appropriate escalation’ as you suggested? I hope it will be a relief for you to hear that the answer to this final set of questions is that indeed, all you and other dignitaries need to know as far as prophecy is concerned is already fully revealed in the Bible, the word of God, which points to Jesus Christ, the final Prophet of God.
Your statement asked for prayers, which is so commendable. Thank you, sir, for asking. We will continue to pray for his excellency the President, for the government, for the bereaved families, and for the entire nation. But please, sir, close the prophecy hotline.
Put your full trust in Jesus Christ, Honourable Sir, and you and others will then not need to fear flying around or to wait in expectation for presidential prophecies.
