The Centre of the World Golf Course in Tema hosted the inaugural Tema Ladies Open, drawing golfers from Professional, Scratch, and Amateur divisions for a three-day showcase of talent.

The tournament featured both men and women, reflecting the sport’s growing competitiveness and rising participation across categories.

In the men’s events, George Wisbon Mensah claimed the top prize in Group A, James K. Otoo triumphed in Group B, and Roy Aboku emerged victorious in Group C.

On the women’s side, Gladys Awuni delivered an impressive performance to top both the Scratch and Group A categories. Dora Ofori Boateng won Group B, while Sylvia Appiah secured first place in Group C.

The event marked a historic first edition of the Tema Ladies Open, celebrating the winners and showcasing the growing talent in Ghanaian golf.
