The exercise was held at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries (CEM) premises on Sunday, March 15, and is part of a series of community health outreach programmes the bank has been conducting across Accra, particularly in the areas where it operates.

The initiative forms part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aimed at collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver essential healthcare services and health education in the communities where it operates.

Hundreds of residents and worshippers seized the opportunity to undergo a range of medical checks during the exercise.

Speaking to Joy Business on the sidelines of the programme, the bank’s Managing Director, Dr Naomi Wolali Kwetey, highlighted the institution’s commitment to promoting community wellbeing through initiatives like this.

Hundreds of worshippers from the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, along with local residents, took part in the exercise, with diabetes emerging as the most commonly recorded condition.

Beneficiaries also received free medical consultations from doctors at the venue. While some were given medication on the spot, those with more serious conditions were advised to pursue further treatment.
