Joy Prime Launches Auditions for Big Chef Junior Season 5 – Calling Young Chefs Across Ghana

Joy Prime has officially opened auditions for the fifth season of its popular children’s cooking reality show, Big Chef Junior, inviting young culinary enthusiasts across Ghana to submit their entries ahead of the March 27, 2026 deadline.

The new season promises to be bigger and more exciting, continuing the platform’s tradition of celebrating young talent that demonstrates creativity, confidence, and cultural expression through food.

Children aged eight to twelve who love cooking are encouraged to participate by sending a one-minute video of themselves preparing their favourite dish via WhatsApp to 055 157 5757.

According to organisers, the competition is designed not only to discover budding culinary talent but also to help children build confidence, develop life skills, and express themselves creatively in the kitchen. Parents are encouraged to support their children throughout the audition process, especially those showing a keen interest in cooking and food presentation.

Contestants don’t need to be perfect, organisers emphasise; what matters most is enthusiasm, personality, and a willingness to learn.

The deadline for submissions is March 27, 2026, after which selected participants will advance to the next stage of the competition.

Over the years, Big Chef Junior has become one of Ghana’s most beloved children’s reality shows, turning simple ingredients into impressive dishes while giving young contestants a platform to shine.

Young aspiring chefs are encouraged to submit their videos before the deadline and take their first step toward becoming the next Big Chef Junior star.
