GPL 2025/26: GoldStars Edge Vision FC to Go Top of League Table

Bibiani GoldStars climbed to the top of the Ghana Premier League table after edging Vision FC 1-0 in their Week 26 clash at Dun’s Park on Sunday.

The defending champions delivered a disciplined performance to secure all three points, with Michael Nkoah scoring the decisive goal.

The first half was tightly contested, with both sides struggling to create clear chances. However, GoldStars raised their intensity after the break and were rewarded in the 53rd minute when Nkoah calmly slotted home to give the hosts the lead.

Vision FC responded with determination, pushing forward in search of an equaliser, but were unable to break down a well-organised GoldStars defence.

The hosts managed the game effectively in the closing stages to seal a hard-fought victory.

The win sees GoldStars move to the top of the table with 48 points, overtaking Medeama SC, who slipped to defeat against Dreams FC.

GoldStars will next face Karela United away from home, while Vision FC will look to bounce back when they host Basake Holy Stars in their upcoming fixture.
