Apostle Seth Twum Barimah, the immediate past Chairman of the Dormaa Ahenkro Chapter of the Local Council of Churches and current National Chairman of the Christian Praise International Centre (CPIC), has urged the newly inducted executives of the Council to lead with integrity, humility and selflessness to advance both the Church and the wider community.
Addressing the induction ceremony held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Wesley Methodist Church auditorium in Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, Apostle Barimah said the future of the Council depended on leaders who were committed to serving others rather than pursuing personal interests.
He expressed confidence in the newly elected executives, describing them as capable leaders with the vision and commitment needed to steer the affairs of the Council in the years ahead.
He encouraged both leaders and members to remain united, dedicated and focused on the shared mission of strengthening the Church’s impact in Dormaa Ahenkro.

The newly elected Chairman of the Dormaa Ahenkro Local Council of Churches, Very Rev. Nicholas Afrifa, who is also the Superintendent Minister of the Methodist Church Ghana, Dormaa Ahenkro Circuit, thanked all those who supported and attended the induction ceremony.
He called on members of the Council to preserve unity, stressing that a united Christian community would better glorify God and contribute to the peace and development of Dormaa Ahenkro.Very Rev. Afrifa expressed concern over what he described as the increasing incidence of unacceptable behaviour among some young people.
He said this called for a united Christian front to pray for positive change in their lives and provide the spiritual guidance needed to help them become responsible members of society.
According to him, division within the Christian community would only weaken the Council’s mission and undermine the purpose for which it was established.

Also speaking at the event, Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah, Chief of Anyinasu under the Dormaa Traditional Council, thanked God on behalf of Nananom for the successful induction of the new leadership.
He prayed for God’s grace, wisdom and strength to guide the executives as they discharged their responsibilities.
The chief also assured the Council of the unwavering support of Nananom, particularly in efforts to pray for, mentor and inspire the youth, with the shared goal of securing a brighter future for Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding communities.
