Boxing: Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe and Rabbon Dodoo to Battle for GBA Presidency

Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe and Rabbon Dodoo will go head-to-head for the presidency of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) in elections scheduled for June 4, 2026, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) has confirmed.

In a statement released on Wednesday morning, the Samir Captan-led IMC also announced that Ernest Ofori and Roger Barnor will contest for the position of first vice president.

For the second vice president slot, David Bishop, Ellis Quaye and Moshud Zaid are also in the race.

The contest for Executive Board membership will see Alhaji Tofiki Murtala, Yusif Maraka Nanor, Samuel Opoku Amoah, Bernard Tetteh Nartey, Shadrack Quaye, Derek Nii Asai Ankrah and Lawrence Carl Lokko all vying for available positions.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel Awuku will run unopposed for the position of treasurer.

Following the close of nominations, vetting of all candidates is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
