The Regional Chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have presented a citation to the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the sector.
The honour was given as a show of appreciation for his efforts in advancing the objectives of the institution while supporting broader national development goals.
According to the Chairmen, the citation reflects Mr Gyamfi’s commitment to excellence, his strategic leadership, and his dedication to duty since taking up the role.
They said his leadership has played a key role in positioning the Ghana Gold Board as a major force in strengthening the country’s gold sector and boosting its contribution to the economy.
Receiving the honour, Mr Gyamfi expressed his appreciation to the Regional Chairmen for the recognition.
He described the gesture as humbling and encouraging, saying it has strengthened his determination to continue serving with diligence and integrity.
Mr Gyamfi also thanked the leadership and supporters of the NDC for their continued confidence and encouragement, noting that their support remains central to his work and vision.
