Oliver Assumang, the mother of newly born triplets, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ghanaians and other well-wishers for the support she received after struggling to pay her medical bills at the Twifo Praso Government Hospital last month.

According to her, the financial burden became so overwhelming that she nearly abandoned the babies at the hospital because she had no means of settling the outstanding bills.

She described the experience as one of the most difficult moments of her life, saying she felt helpless as a mother suddenly faced with the responsibility of caring for three newborn babies without financial support.

Her situation, however, touched many people after the story became public, prompting individuals and groups to come to her aid.
Speaking after receiving the support, Oliver Assumang said the donations helped her clear the hospital bills in full. In addition to financial assistance, several people also provided baby food, diapers, clothing and other essential items for the care of the triplets.

“I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me in one way or another,” she said. “Your kindness restored my hope at a time when I was almost giving up. May God richly bless you all.”
She noted that the assistance has significantly reduced her burden and enabled her to concentrate on taking care of the babies at their home in Twifo Kyekyewere.

The grateful mother also thanked the staff of Twifo Praso Government Hospital for the care and support they offered her and the babies throughout their stay at the facility.
