More than 300 Persons with Disabilities in the Atebubu Amantin Municipality have commended businessman Kofi Owusu, popularly known as Alhaji Didi, for his consistent support and generosity over the years.
The beneficiaries praised the Chief Executive Officer of Alhaji Didi Company Limited for his annual donations, which include food items, drinks, and clothing. They said the gesture has continually made them feel valued and included in society despite their physical challenges.
Their appreciation came during a ceremony where Alhaji Kofi Owusu presented assorted relief items as part of activities marking his 60th birthday celebration.
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Kofi Owusu said he was delighted to spend time with persons with disabilities and support their needs.
He stressed that disability is not inability and called on society to treat persons with disabilities with dignity, love, and respect.
