The District Chief Executive for the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District has embarked on a working tour across the district to inspect the progress of ongoing development projects.

He was accompanied by the Presiding Member, Hon. Daniel Agbodza, as well as officials from the District Works Department. The tour took the team to several project sites to assess the level of work done, verify quality standards, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
The inspection covered both inherited projects from previous administrations and new initiatives being financed through the District Assemblies Common Fund.

Speaking during the tour, Hon. Daniel Agbodza praised contractors for their dedication and the quality of work so far, noting visible progress at most of the sites visited.
He explained that the projects span key sectors such as education, health, roads, and sanitation, and are distributed across various communities to promote balanced development within the district.
According to the team, a number of the projects are in their final stages, with completion levels estimated between 90 and 95 percent. These include classroom blocks, Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds, drainage systems, and market facilities designed to improve service delivery and boost local economic activity.

The District Chief Executive reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to closely monitoring all projects to ensure value for money and timely completion. He also urged contractors to maintain their current pace and uphold high standards, stressing that quality would not be compromised.
During the visit, the team interacted with residents at some of the project sites. Community members expressed appreciation for the ongoing works and appealed for their swift completion to help address urgent local needs.
